Uganda's beautiful national parks are not crowded. We will see huge numbers of euphorbia, elephants, large herds of hippos and an unprecedented variety of birds. As you cruise along the rapids of the White Nile, stop and walk to the chimpanzees. Deep in the forest are the rare mountain gorillas on the border with Rwanda.

SINGLES: Unless you request single accommodations, singles will be matched with a same-sex roommate. If we cannot match you, there is not additional charge for the single.

INCLUSIVES:  Accommodation in hotels/lodges, excursions and game drives according to program, cruise Queen Elizabeth NP, entry fees to parks, local English-speaking driver / guide. Airport transfers at beginning and end of land program.  VALUE OF INCLUSIVES: $ 400
EXCLUSIVES:  International flights, other meals, optional excursions, entrance fees not specifically named, visa or exit taxes (when applicable) gratuities, personal expenses, etc. If you plan to participate in the gorilla trekking, rafting or canoe trip on the Nile in Jinja, then you need to bring more money. A day of rafting on the Nile in Jinja is about $150. Canoeing is also available. Guided walk in Kibale Forest with guide is about $10 pp. Permits for the gorilla trekking will cost around $600.Estimated Weekly Out-of-Pocket Expenses: $  270

PRIVATE TOURS/CUSTOM DATE:  If you have a party of 8 or more, you can book almost any of Djoser’s group programs on a private basis. In this case we would use  a local guide(s). Lodging upgrades or smaller group size (when possible) would incur additional costs.

The land program begins depending on the flight arrival time of the Dutch participants who fly together from Amsterdam. The group will typically meet about 2 to 3 hours after their arrival, at the hotel. If they have a late evening arrival, the program will begin early the next morning. Please note their scheduled flight times below to estimate your own flight times.

Schedule your flight to arrive prior to the Dutch participants so as not to  miss the first meeting, activity or transfer. If you need additional hotel nights at the beginning or end of the program, please inquire.
